Exhibit A · Pop emergency
Hi, I’m Keith!
A party for your most specific thoughts.
I’m convinced I have really funny friends, and that their friends are funny too. Slide Into Madness is my excuse to give all those tiny obsessions and unnecessary investigations a stage.
Think of the PowerPoint parties you’ve seen on YouTube or Dropout, or maybe thrown yourself. Giving a talk takes a little preparation; coming to watch takes none. Aim for eight minutes of slides about something you care about and use the rest of your ten-minute slot for questions. Or just grab a drink and cheer everybody on.

Two ways to come
Come watch
Pick a party and RSVP. No prep at all. Bring a snack or a drink if you can.
Give a talk
Pick a party and claim one of its eight talk slots. At some parties you bring your own topic; at others the wheel picks it for you.

How it works
Aim for an eight-minute talk
Every slot is ten minutes total. Use whatever time remains for Q&A. If you need the full ten, take it. People can talk with you afterward.
Tell your friends a story
Use the theme as an excuse to be funny and talk about something you care about. It doesn't need to be perfect.
Sometimes the wheel picks
For Unqualified TED Talks, claim a slot and spin for one of twenty topics. You get two rerolls.
Send me your slides
PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides: whatever works on the TV. Once every deck is in, I set the running order.
Eight speakers per party
All eight slots are open to everyone, first-come, first-served, with a break halfway through.
Bring something if you can
Food, drinks, ice, and folding chairs are all useful. Add yours to the RSVP so I know what's covered.
The schedule has wiggle room
There’s time to arrive and settle in before the talks, plus time to mingle afterward. If the party winds down early or a technical problem eats a few minutes, no big deal.
Cheer for everyone
Be loud and generous with your praise. Every presenter should leave feeling like a genius.
